Friday Fun Day!

We have started Friday Fun Day in our first week, which means we didn't have normal lessons in our classrooms. So instead we took the kids out to the field nearby to play games.

We split the classes up and taught one group Cricket and the other group Duck Duck Goose and the Hokey Pokey. They seemed to enjoy all of it! Especially Duck Duck Goose and Hokey Pokey! The only problem with cricket was that the kids didn't get constant action as they were spread out in the field. So after a while we played Volleyball instead with two of the children holding up a rope to be the net. They all got involved and really enjoyed it!

While one group played cricket and volleyball the other group were taught Duck Duck Goose and Hokey Pokey. The kids loved this! It got a little hot after a while because of the running around some of the children went back to the school to do arts and crafts. Back at the school we all went upstairs. We had some kids in the computer room playing with the Paint program and the rest of the kids were in the big room with large pieces of paper drawing their hand prints and decorating the rest of the space.

All in all - the kids loved the day, which made us feel like the week finished with a bang!!!
